Oh, what is this ?? I first thought it was a metallic black spring but seems vegetal ? The tones are terrific, half fishy half mushroomesque ! This is both a lil'disgusting and fascinating ! Ok, you got me here more than a few seconds and a "Oh nice frame !" so i guess you win to make me feel interested - and that's one of the thing we ask with our photos isn't it ? ;)) Have a nice sunday Thea*

Goedemiddag Thea, Dit ziet er niet erg aantrekkelijk uit, eigenlijk best wel vies. Maar goed dit gebeurt nu eenmaal, het is het verval. Wel goed weergegeven!

Coprinus comatus, the shaggy ink cap, lawyer's wig, or shaggy mane, is a common fungus often seen growing on lawns, along gravel roads and waste areas. When young it is an excellent edible mushroom provided that it is eaten soon after being collected (it keeps very badly because of the autodigestion of its gills and cap). The species is cultivated in China as food. - You asked ? You have ! thank you Google ! (happy to learn with you ;))
