a last view....

Posted by Thea (Leeuwarden, Netherlands) on 18 September 2010 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

Unfortunatly I could only shoot this wringer from one side
because it stood against a wall,practicly falling apart..but I
showed some details, for I love all these aged structures:)
(did some processing here).

Very intriguing.
What is this wringer for, btw?

18 Sep 2010 12:03pm

@Marian Laura: In times before washing machines were invented, people used this tool
to mangle the water out of their clothes and other stuff,to get all of it dry
a bit quicker.:)

The processing has given it some gritty texture which is perfect for aged images. Excellent 'historic' shot Thea.
